August 2026 showed the growing depth of TME Education’s work across Africa and Asia, with ambassadors combining practical STEM learning with employment pathways, inclusive education, robotics, renewable energy and technology innovation.
In Liberia, Ambassador Archie Forpoh completed a Solar PV Installation programme for 65 participants, covering installation, maintenance, testing, safety and renewable energy entrepreneurship. Most significantly, 30 participants secured internship and employment opportunities with Orange Energy Liberia, creating a direct pathway from technical training into professional experience.
In Botswana, Ambassador Keitumetse Neo Modipane reached 156 learners, including 86 boys and 70 girls, through school outreach, community electronics sessions and participation in the National STEM Hackathon. Students explored circuits and practical electronics, while teachers were introduced to ways of strengthening practical STEM education.
Cameroon reached more than 100 participants through workshops combining electronics, robotics, embedded systems and 3D prototyping. Collaboration with Plastibytes helped learners connect circuit development with physical product design and prototype creation.
In India, more than 85 students took part in Arduino, electronics, 3D printing and IoT workshops, while Kenya combined design thinking, robotics competitions and technical mentorship. Ambassador Kelvin Kangethe Gitau supported student teams preparing for local and international robotics events while strengthening links with schools and universities.
In Ethiopia, Ambassador Robe Getachew expanded practical electronics education to include autistic children and other learners at Empower Abilities for Youth and Children Center. A total of 39 participants used Tinkercad simulations and Arduino hardware through flexible and supportive teaching methods.
Further activities in Tanzania, Burundi, Senegal, Uganda, Benin, Madagascar and Zambia strengthened learning in IoT, programming, robotics, digital fabrication and innovation.
Across August, TME Education continued moving learners beyond theory towards practical skills, confidence, innovation and pathways that can support future education, employment and entrepreneurship.
