Empowering Youth Through STEM: TME Education’s Impact in December 2025

In December 2025, TME Education continued its mission to close the technology gap across Africa by delivering practical, high-impact STEM training to students and young people . Through hands-on learning, TME ambassadors sparked creativity and built confidence, helping participants turn ideas into real-world solutions.

In Tanzania, Ambassador Shaukatali Z. Hussein led a 15-day training for 45 students drawn from six secondary schools. The workshop focused on Arduino programming and rapid prototyping, guiding learners through four structured phases: introduction, hardware interfacing, problem solving, and project creation. It ended with an exciting inter-school competition where students presented functional tech prototypes powered by TME kits.

In Malawi, Ambassador Chisangalalo Kanthema reported that more than 300 students have been trained throughout 2025—60% of whom were girls. December's sessions were hosted at Qubix Robotics Hub, where students engaged in Arduino programming, electronics assembly, and basic AI concepts. Many graduates have since launched personal tech projects or secured employment, showing how accessible training can lead directly to new opportunities.

In Egypt, TME Education expanded its reach across seven schools in Helwan and Masraa. Boys and girls from both preparatory and secondary schools participated in workshops that introduced them to basic electronics, strengthening foundational STEM knowledge early in their academic journey.

In Kenya, Ambassador Abisalom N. completed a successful training cycle focused on mobile phone repair. After graduating his final group of students from the programme, he began mobilising youth in Kisumu County, preparing to launch a new training centre in January that will continue empowering underserved learners.

From rural classrooms to city tech hubs, December proved that with the right tools and mentorship, students across Africa are ready to lead the future of innovation.
