In November 2025, TME Education ambassadors across Africa reaffirmed their commitment to bridging the digital divide by equipping young people with practical, life-changing STEM skills. With a focus on electronics, robotics, and innovation, this month’s activities reached hundreds of students, many of whom were engaging with hands-on technology for the first time.
Uganda: Focusing on Embedded Systems
At the CSCA Kibuli Centre, Ambassador Mpuuga Abdu Nasser led a focused training in embedded electronics and Arduino programming. Though a small cohort of four boys participated, the impact was significant . Students advanced their understanding of circuit connections, sensors, and programmable microcontrollers, building a strong foundation in modern hardware development.
Zambia: Lighting the Way Forward
In Zambia, Tutor Nancy Mutachila continued her dedicated work with students at Mulungushi University. Using TME Education kits, learners explored LEDs, RGB lighting , sensors, and potentiometers. Sessions emphasised experimentation, encouraging students to understand how electronic components interact in real-world systems. The practical sessions sparked curiosity and problem-solving among both female and male students , preparing them for further exploration in robotics and design.
Liberia: Developing Young Technologists
At the Orange Digital Centre in Monrovia, 40 students received hands-on training in Arduino programming, Internet of Things, and electronics assembly. The programme focused on transforming ideas into working prototypes. Through teamwork and technical mentorship, students gained confidence in using microcontrollers and basic sensors to build smart devices.
Nigeria: Empowering Through Outreach
Led by Ambassadors Ogunranti Adebayo Moses and Kolawole Oluwasegun, TME Education Nigeria carried out multiple outreach activities, including STEM workshops in Lagos and Akure. From secondary school engagements to weekend innovation hubs, young learners were exposed to coding, electronics, and robotics. The "Love in Action" outreach also promoted inclusive learning, making technology accessible to students from underserved communities.
These activities highlight the strength of TME Education’s model: equipping students with tools, training, and mentorship that extend beyond the classroom. With each session, ambassadors are not only teaching technology, they are planting the seeds for future engineers, inventors, and changemakers.
As the year draws to a close, the momentum continues to build. From Uganda’s precision learning to Liberia’s group training sessions and Nigeria’s outreach-driven approach, TME Education remains committed to creating access, opportunity, and sustainable growth through technology education.
